Birmingham University are recruiting up to 50 New Research Fellowships!

Birmingham University is looking to recruit up to a staggering 50 post-doctoral fellows, they are on the hunt for “outstanding post-doctoral researchers who are on a trajectory to become the next generation of research and academic leaders.”

The Birmingham Fellowships aim to “cultivate the next generation of Birmingham academics”, with Fellowships lasting 5 years, with the promise of “no substantive academic management or administration” required and a permanent post available at the end – these fellowships are more than your average research position.

This opportunity will allow fellows to fully engage in in-depth research, establishing themselves within academia on an international scale.

The University has identified over 20 priority areas for recruitment, however areas of research do not have to be too closely aligned to these themes, the University is looking for exciting research that will enhance its excellence and will accept applications from other fields.
