Webinars: CCS in developing countries - Webinar series

Deploying CCS in developing countries is critically important.  The International Energy Agency estimates that to achieve global emissions reduction targets 70% of CCS projects will be in non-OECD countries by 2050.

This series of three webinars aims to highlight the progress and challenges faced by developing countries in deploying CCS.

The first webinar in the series will be the status of CCS in developing countries, presented by the Global CCS Institute.  The World Bank will present the next webinar on key issues and barriers, drawing on its program of work around the world.  The Asian Development Bank will present the third webinar on the Roadmap for CCS Demonstration and Deployment for the People's Republic of China.
