CANNAPE has been created to ;

  • Increase contact between the Canadian and European research community
  • Raise awareness of opportunities for aeronautics and air transport research collaboration between Europe and Canada;
  • Involve Canadian companies, organisations and universities in FP7 and FP8 projects.
  • Develop a technology road map outlining capabilities and technology priorities for international collaboration.

This will be done through work shops (two in Europe and two in Canada) between 2011 and 2013. There will also be road shows across Canada to provide background information on the Framework Programme and explain potential research opportunities.

The Canadian and European aeronautic research community should use CANNAPE for:

Awareness of up and coming EC Calls
Finding partners
Influencing technology roadmaps
Funding opportunities
Involvement in collaborative EC projects
