New CANNAPE Case Study Published - Canada in SESAR

CANNAPE has published its fifth and final case study, articulating the involvement of Canada in the Single European Skies ATM Research (SESAR) programme.

SESAR is a 16-year, 2.1bn Aeronautic and Air Transport (AAT) programme investigating a more integrated and efficient apporach to the management of the skies. Benefits will include reduced operational costs, reduced emissions and greater passenger experience owing to heightened efficiencies created.
It also explores new ways in which the aviation industry can reduce emissions by partnering with Governments and industries outside of the European Union through the SESAR Joint Undertaking programme. The Joint Undertaking partners with the Federal Aviation Administration and other North American participants uder the giuse of the AIRE (Atlantic Interoperability Initative to Reduce Emissions).
