Joint Canada-EU Coordinated Call One Step Closer After Creation of CARIC

Canadian aerospace researchers will soon be able to partner with European aerospace business and project leaders on strategically important programmes of research & development as a result of the work undertaken by the CANNAPE programme.

CARIC (Canadian Aerospace Research and Innovation Consortium) was created to further enable greater alignment of collaborations. Canadian funding amounts are yet to be formally signed off by the Treasury, but are expected soon. The funding will be released to coincide with the imminent AAT (Aeronautics & Air Transport) Horizon2020 Competitions.

AIAC, the trade association for the aerospace industry in Canada, circulated a press release with full details of the Consortium and acknowledgeing the critical role played by the CANNAPE consortium, from both sides of the Atlantic, in shaping and scoping this excellent opportunity.
