Advanced Engineering Show Enabling Innovation Zone

By Sarah Jacobs

2nd and 3rd November 2016, NEC, Birmingham, UK

The Advanced Engineering show brings together OEMs, Tier 1 manufacturers and many working across the supply chain in aerospace; automotive; motorsport; transport; civil engineering and other sectors.

The KTN are pleased to announce that this year they are part of the Enabling Innovation area, in partnership with Magna International. The KTN have stepped up their networking activities at the show, with significant brokerage opportunities for delegates attending the show which we hope will bring about new collaborations. This will be on three levels:

1. Pre-booked meeting mojo whilst at the event. There are a dedicated number of booths for 1-1’s at the show. Business, Academics, Research Organisations and consultants can opt in to meeting mojo during the registration process ahead of the show and the KTN will take care of disseminating the profiles to assist in meeting bookings at the show.

2. The Collaboration Corner is a new feature for the advanced Engineering show and a much loved tool the KTN has used before. If you can’t stay for the whole show or it clashes with another yet you would like to find partners or have a project offer you need partners for we can post these for you. In particular there is an ERANET call  https://photonicsensing.eu/ applicable to a wide range of sectors and the KTN is working on an EU project  www.respice-sme.eu  and will endeavour to attract its EU partners to attend or submit a partnering profile and assist in EU collaborations.

3. The KTN are hosting some key presentations to spark discussion and offering 1-1s with the speakers which you can sign up for through meeting mojo or book on the day.
