Short BBC report on growing seaweed for biofuels

There is a short video on the BBC website, highlighting some research being carried out by the Scottish Association for Marine Science (Sams) to determine optimal ways to grow seaweed for biofuels. The scientists are growing sugar kelp on textile mats suspended in sea water, in order to identify which of 11 different materials  gives the best yield of seaweed.
