January 2015 Newsletter

Dear Member

Welcome to our January newsletter in which we have highlighted an array of funding competitions and new algae related events for 2015.

The next big event is the Industrial Biotechnology Showcase in London on 11-12 February which will showcase the excellent R&D in bio-based technologies and processes in the UK. With a strong industry presence, this is an excellent opportunity to meet key contacts, including those working on algae. See below for more information on speakers and the IBLF Award finalists competing for nine awards, including one NERC Ecosystem Services Award. Please do come along and vote for your favourite pitch in the IB Den!

And remember, if you have any news or events you would like to share with the community, we would love to hear from you.

Kind regards

The Algal Bioenergy SIG Team
