IB Network investing in Special Interest Groups

The IB Network started this summer to organize so-called Special Interest Groups, or SIGs, that focus on a more concerted development of certain biorenewables and their processing to products and applications. Through these SIGs we want to accelerate the development of a sustainable and economically feasible use of biorenewables like microalgae, seaweed and wood.

Our SIGs allow you to meet with professionals who work with the same challenges or have solutions in the same or other parts of the value chain. We expect that this also will contribute to a better understanding of the interdependencies and critical factors to a successful development.

The SIG Microalgae had its start-up workshop on June 25th at Gardermoen, with eleven participating organisations. SIG Seaweed will follow soon, see below, and the preparations for a SIG Lignocellulose have started. You may join as an individual professional or as an organisation. For more info on SIGs and how to participate, contact the IB Network secretariat.
