Could your company benefit from engineering biology?

Could your company contribute to or benefit from engineering biology? Would you like to learn more about this emerging technology?

SynBioCITE and IET are hosting an 'Engineering Biology' workshop on 5th April in central London to showcase the UK's strengths in synthetic biology and show how companies are benefitting from the latest innovative R&D.

The international speakers have developed a programme that is not aimed at synthetic biology experts, but will instead demonstrate the power of biology to a broader audience.

At this seminar delegates will learn about:

  • An overview of engineering biology from the co-directors of Synthetic Biology Hub, Imperial College and from the Chair in Synthetic Biology from University of Edinburgh

  • An update on the vision and direction of the vibrant world-leading synthetic biology community in the UK from the Co-Chair of the SBLC (Synthetic Biology Leadership Council)

  • The latest collaborative and multidisciplinary research in engineering of biological systems

  • How the convergence of nanotechnology, systems and synthetic biology are producing incredible technologies that are being commercialised and adopted by industry

  • How research is opening up greater avenues for new research.
