The objective of this workshop is to bring together key stakeholders from across the whole supply chain from microalgae cultivators to fuel suppliers to airplane manufacturers to airline companies.

The event aims to understand the challenges and opportunities along the supply chain in order to expedite the delivery of microalgae aviation fuels to assist the aviation industry in meeting its commitment to a greener flightpath.

If you work anywhere along this supply chain and have a business proposition or a technology that could be key in creating a step-change towards delivering a sustainable aviation fuel, then you are invited to attend this event and can offer the following opportunities:


20 minute presentation slot in main programme

Invitation is open to businesses working anywhere along the supply chain who have worked on, or have an interest in microalgae aviation fuel. Please send the following information to by 5pm Friday 13th November 2015

Provide a visual ‘pitch’

Submit 2 PowerPoint slides describing your activity (this is open to businesses or academics) to be shown on a screen in the exhibition area. Please send your 2 slides to by Friday 20th November 2015

This day conference is being organised by the Algal Bioenergy Special Interest Group on behalf of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and Innovate UK with the objective of facilitating a sustainable and robust algal industry in the UK.
