Register now for Natural Product Biotechnology, 18-20 November, Inverness

There is still time to register for Natural Product Biotechnology, which will take place in Inverness on 18-20 November 2014.

Day 1 will feature a session dedicated to Seaweed and Microalgae Biotechnology. Seaweed is a key feedstock in the development of Industrial Biotechnology, so this conference will be covering many aspects of its use as a source of high-value compounds for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. But an important part of developing the industry is understanding the sustainability of supply, the organisers are very pleased to announce that Stewart Angus and Eoina Rodgers from Scottish Natural Heritage will be presenting a paper on the kelp forest ecosystem off Scotland's West Coast, permitting an economically and ecologically sustainable harvest.
