£15M Health & Life Sciences Competition now open

Innovate UK is investing up to £15 million in projects addressing technical or commercial challenges in health and life sciences (H&LS), with the aim of increasing competitiveness for UK small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The H&LS sector focuses on agriculture, food and healthcare. It is supported by bioscience technology, medical research and engineering and physical sciences expertise.

Who can apply?

Grants can be awarded to a consortium, led by a business, working with other organisations or research groups. All consortia must involve at least one SME. Innovate UK will welcome projects led by an SME. An SME can apply on its own for funding up to £100,000.
