Introducing the Rail Technical Strategy
The Railway Technical Strategy (RTS), which outlines the strategy to meet rail future technical needs, will be published in December 2012. Led by rail experts who were involved in creating the new RTS, this informative briefing will be addressed to academics interested in learning more about it:
- What is behind the RTS?
- Where does it fit in within the industry strategic plan?
We recently announced our exciting line-up of speakers and the workshop programme is now available on the RRUKA website.
This is a chance for researchers from engineering, computer science, physics, modelling, chemistry, psychology, economics and business management, hospitality, sustainable development and transport planning disciplines to hear about the rail industry’s strategy to meet future technical needs and see how their research and ideas could be applied to the future railways.
You can take part either in person or via webinar and interact with the speakers and experts online. A buffet lunch will follow the briefing (13:00 – 14:00).
Registration is now open for this event - for more information please see the the RRUKA website.
The event will begin promptly at 09:55 with registration taking place from 09:30.
